It is also a person who is able to deal with talking to others all the time. If you love talking to people, you will find you are a people person, and you will be a great customer service representative.

What qualifications do you need to have? Every type of customer service representative is a little different. If you are dealing face to face with people in a customer service situation, you need to be able to speak clearly and listen closely. Sometimes what may seem to be a big problem when the buyer or return buyer walks up could really be something you can answer and solve in no time at all and you will be the answer to everything they have been looking for. If you can smile, and listen to details you would be a great customer service representative in person or on the phone. Smiling, even when you are on the phone is going to put your voice in a smiling mood, enabling you to listen, deal and work through anything that a buyer could need or want from customer service.

A customer service representative could be needed in just about any type of setting from technical help, to the credit card department, to the return department, to the fitting room department. Customer service representatives are able to solve problems, help buyers, and feel rewarded by what has been accomplished at the end of the day.
